A summer wedding is lovely, but a Saratoga Summer Wedding is even better!
In keeping with my resolution to blog more of the last year’s wedding photography, today we are featuring Alaina and Michael who got married last August at the Mansion in Saratoga. Alaina and Michael live out of town, but chose the Mansion for their destination wedding for it’s quaint charm and great options. In addition to the Victorian Mansion, the grounds feature a rose garden and a rustic barn which are perfect for wedding photos.
Alaina and her family chose to get ready at the Mansion. The second floor has a wonderful sitting area that we used to do some quick getting ready photos and bridal portraits. The florals were provided by the Posie Peddler–excellent job as always! The ceremony was held outdoors on a perfect summer day near the pond and barn with a wonderful ceremony by Reverend Joy Burke. The guests mingled in the Rose Garden for cocktails. Dinner and dancing followed under the tent with entertainment by Saratoga Sound. Tent Decor was from Total Events. It was an altogether perfect Saratoga Summer Wedding!

The light coming through the window was perfect for a backlit shot of the wedding dress and veil.

I just love the braid and hair jewelry.

Alaina’s Mom helping Dad get ready.

I love these black and white portraits we created in the upstairs sitting area.

Outdoor wedding ceremonies are so pretty.

Wedding Ceremonies by Saratoga Wedding Officiant Joy Burke are always special and heartfelt.

The back of the dress is always an important detail.

The Kiss!

Totally candid and one of my favorite photos from the day.

These bouquets by The Posie Peddler were just stunning.

Grooms tend to be more relaxed after the ceremony. LOL.

The architecture at the Mansion is distinctive.

A must have photo if you are wearing a Cinderella ballgown.

Special signage is a nice personal touch.

The decor by Total Events was perfect for this casual, elegant event.

I love the kitschy-ness of the polaroid camera.

Tented wedding reception decor.

First Dance.

Beautiful violet accent lighting was provided by Saratoga Sound.

I really like this candid image during dinner.

That braid!

Just some reception fun.

Loved that they cut the cake in this room at the Mansion.

And that’s a wrap!
