I photographed a Canoe Island Lodge Destination Wedding this month and wanted to share it here because it had so many wonderful candid moments and it was a blast to photograph.I feel like the best way to showcase this particular wedding is with a slide show:
Things I loved about this wedding:
It was a great mix of laid back and traditional elements. The bride and groom both wore cowboy boots with their formal attire. No one was taking themselves too seriously. I got to work with some of my favorite wedding vendors. And the details were fantastic.
Some of my favorite moments:

I think this is the most serious Carter was all day long.

This is what I think wedding photography is really all about–capturing moments like this.

I especially love Carter’s expression as he looks at Lydia coming toward him.

The moments between the moments make great images.

Great cake pictures–essential. LOL.

I love genuine expressions. They just look delighted to be married.

This is after we finished taking portraits–I just think it is fun and natural. And you can see the boots!
