Random 2020 Favorite Photos

I shot this because I was inspired by a photo of Marlene Dietrich. I like the clean lines and black and white is a favorite for me.
I am not one to usually post a Year End Favorite Photos kind of blog. Choosing favorites is like choosing a favorite child. But I think we can all agree that 2020 was anything but usual. So here are a few of my 2020 Favorite Photos and why:

This is a simple bridal boudoir photo from a shoot with Saratoga Bride at the Hilton in town. Again, I love the simplicity. HMUA: Lipstick N Lashes | Lingerie: Chic Underneath

This was a Prom Shoot I did at Hangar 743/Warbird in Albany right before we descended into lockdown due to Covid. I love all these girls. Dresses: Danielle’s Bridal | HMUA: Lipstick N Lashes

When downtown reopened, I did a few photos for fellow business owners. I love this one of Pam at Spoken.

I also like this one of Kimberly at Pink Paddock.

So fun–Editorial for Saratoga Bride with a fabulous jumpsuit by Justin Alexander available at Ferri Formals.

Totally candid–This wedding photo was taken during a quiet moment before the ceremony. I love when things spontaneously happen.

Love when a group photo looks this good. It is important for every single person in a group to look good, even when it is kind of candid.

This is literally a spot on the side of the road. This year forced me to find out of the way spots and it was great.

I love photographing a bride on the way to the wedding ceremony. this was special because it was a very intimate wedding.

My very favorite outtake from this year. I also loved the styling on this session. It was very Ralph Lauren.

This couple was really fun to photograph because they were super comfortable in front of the camera.
So these are just a handful of some of my 2020 Favorite Photos. Like I said, choosing favorites is like choosing a favorite kid. It is really subjective and I am sure I have left many out of this mix.
